Space Survivors
Space Survivors is a 2D Survival Roguelike in the same vein as Vampire Survivors, Brotato and Soulstone Survivors. This game was originally released as part of Game Off 2022, an annual Game Jam co-hosted by GitHub. Special thanks go to all Game Off 2022 participants who gave feedback.
The year is 3000. You are a lone courier, travelling through space collecting scrap, making deliveries to America-loving customers, and fighting off endless hordes of enemy spaceships.
Your goal: make big bucks and survive for as long as you can against a ever-growing fleet of hostile spaceships.
To aid you in your delivery and scrap collecting by buying powerful weapons, utility items and upgrades for your ship.

Seems like shields don't work? I can see the shield bar but when getting hit Hp still goes down while the shield bar never moves
Hey mraider,
To clarify, was the shield bar dark blue? If so, this means that your shield needed to recharge. This happens automatically after a few seconds, provided you do not take damage. If you take damage, the timer resets and you have to wait again for the shield to regenerate.

I must have missed it entirely because I see the brighter blue now. Can't say I like having a "full" bar that looks like shields be actually empty.
No worries, I understand the confusion.
I'll keep this feedback in mind for future games.
