Space Survivors - Game Off 2022

Description

Space Survivors is a 2D Survival Roguelike in the same vein as Vampire Survivors, Brotato and Soulstone Survivors. 

The year is 3000. You are a lone courier, travelling through space collecting scrap, making deliveries to America-loving customers, and fighting off endless hordes of enemy spaceships.

Your goal: make big bucks and survive for as long as you can against a ever-growing fleet of hostile spaceships.

To aid you in your delivery and scrap collecting  by buying powerful weapons, utility items and upgrades for your ship.

Game Off 2022 

  This Game is a Submission to the annual Game Jam "Game Off 2022", co-hosted by Github. 

The theme for this Jam was Cliché. The way this game incorporates the theme can be best summed up by the following phrase: "The year is 3000, and yet all anyone cares about is 19th-21st century stuff from the United States" 

 The player buys items using USD. Shops are named after US Locations and references. Customers buy American items, and have names that are popular in the US. 

 All source code and assets used in this game are posted on Github here.
