Description
Rogue Space is a 2D Space Rogue-lite.
The aim of the game is to Survive for as long as possible and earn money to increase your score. To achieve this, you will explore a unique, procedurally generated world, mine rare asteroids, fight evermore powerful enemies, and purchase weapons, items and upgrades for your ship.
Be careful though! If you die, theres no loading, quicksaves or fallbacks; you will have to start again.
How long can you Survive? Highscores are now automatically Submitted to the new Leaderboard.
Controls
[WASD] - Move Ship Forward, Left, Backward, Right
[Mouse Position] - Control Ships Rotation
[Spacebar] to Boost
[Left Click] to shoot, [Right click] to toggle lock-on-target mode
While locked on, [Spacebar] to toggle "Lock Rotation to Target's Position"
[P] - Pause Game
[M] Open Map
Blue button in bottom right - Enable Fullscreen
F11 - Exit Fullscreen

good game with great potential. difficulty curve is a bit high. too hard once many enemies spawn. can't find a way to outrun/avoid them despite the tool tip advice.

It can get very hard when you are outnumbered, I agree.
Most early game enemies can be escaped by just boosting in a certain direction for a while. Later game enemies require some dodging through asteroid fields (and also I coded it so that they gradually slow down a bit the longer they are alive).
