Major New Features
- New Powerup Upgrades
- Health Pack Spawning: Health Packs spawn randomly (average interval = 50/35/20 seconds). Cost: 128,000, 256,000, 512,000
- Near Miss Fuel Gain: Gain up to 2/3/4 units of fuel from near misses. Cost: 128,000, 256,000, 512,000 Dev Comment: The amount of fuel gained from a near miss depends on the closest distance between the obstacle and the player craft
- Time Slow Ability: Hold [Space] to Slow Time for 5/10/15 seconds (2.5% per second recharge) Cost: 128,000, 192,000, 288,000
- Increased Map size by 5x (map length 20,000km => 100,000km)
- New Sunlight Effect System
- Reworked Craft Movement System
- Added Forward Movement
- Reworked Backward Movement so that the player craft now moves down the screen instead of slowing the Crafts overall speed
- Complete rewrite of Obstacle Generation and Player Movement systems
- 2x+ Improved general performance, 10x+ late-game performance
Dev comment: Many users reported significant performance drops and obstacles behaving erratically in later stages of the game in the Game Jam Edition. These issues have been resolved by the rewrite.
Minor Changes
- Added more variety in asteroid sprites (2 new basic asteroid sprites)
- Improved the visibility of existing sprites when the lighting level is low
- Added Camera zoom-out effect on Launch
- Improved Balance/Mixing of Sound Effects
- Added fade effect to player death explosion
- Numerous tweaks to Upgrade Costs and Stats provided
- Rescaled different biomes
Dev comment: In general, earlier biomes are now smaller, and later biomes are now larger than in the Game Jam Edition.

- Changed Victory Screen colour palette to improve continuity with other UI elements

Bug Fixes
- Fixed Bug where Asteroids collide and move erratically when close to the end of the map
- Fixed Bug where background can vibrate when the Player Craft is travelling at high speeds
- Fixed bug where smaller asteroids can spawn inside of larger asteroids' collision boxes
- Reworked spawning algorithm so that obstacle spawning rate adjusts properly when the player is moving at higher speeds
- Fixed bug where near misses were sometimes not registered when the player flew to the left of an obstacle
- Fixed bug where lasers were not properly cleaned up between rounds
- Removed raycasting detection from How to Play text
Dev Comment: This initially caused certain parts of Upgrade buttons being unresponsive
- Fixed bug where SFX did not play correctly when the player was travelling at higher speeds
- Fixed bug where music could become permanently muffled upon entering the upgrade screen
- Fixed bug where the in-flight music would not loop correctly
- Fixed bug where player death animation could repeat on loop when the player reaches the Star
- Fixed bug where player sprite would permanently red-tinted upon taking damage twice in quick succession
- Fixed bug where victory screen could sometimes trigger despite the player dying a few seconds prior
